Peer Review at IDCIJST- INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL'S INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

IDCIJST- INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL'S INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY is committed to rigorous, fair, and constructive peer review. All manuscripts are evaluated by two independent domain experts using a structured double-blind process.

Peer review is the backbone of scholarly credibility. IDCIJST- INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL'S INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY reviewers are asked to evaluate manuscripts on originality, methodological soundness, scholarly significance, clarity of argument, and contribution to the journal's research domains. Reviewers are not asked to make editorial decisions — that authority rests with the Editor-in-Chief — but their detailed reports are central to every acceptance or revision decision.

Invitation & Conflict Check

Reviewers are invited by email with a brief summary of the manuscript's topic and scope. You are expected to declare any conflicts of interest — including prior collaboration with authors, institutional affiliations, or financial interests — before accepting an invitation.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts are strictly confidential. You must not share, discuss, or cite the manuscript in any form before or after publication without the authors' explicit consent. Manuscripts must be deleted from your systems upon submission of your review.

Evaluation Criteria

Reviews are structured around: (i) Originality and scholarly contribution, (ii) Methodological rigour and appropriateness, (iii) Quality and coherence of argument, (iv) Engagement with relevant literature, (v) Clarity, organisation, and writing quality. Each dimension receives a rating and written commentary.

Review Format

IDCIJST- INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL'S INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY provides a structured review template. You are asked to provide: a summary of the manuscript's core argument (3–5 sentences), a list of major revisions required (if any), an overall recommendation (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject), and an optional confidential note to the editors.

Timeline & Reminders

Reviews are expected within 3–4 weeks of invitation acceptance. One extension of up to 2 weeks may be requested by email. Reviewers who cannot complete a review are asked to decline promptly so that alternative reviewers can be approached without delay.

Recognition & Acknowledgements

All reviewers are thanked in the annual editorial acknowledgements. Exceptional reviewers may be invited to join the journal's standing reviewer panel, or, over time, the editorial board. Reviewing for IDCIJST- INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL'S INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY will be formally recognised in your academic profile upon request.
